Healthcare Subsidy
Under Prop 22, eligible driver partners can receive a healthcare subsidy to help cover the cost of health insurance. The subsidy amount is determined by the average weekly engaged time over a calendar quarter.

To qualify for the healthcare subsidy, all of the following must be true:
- You meet one of the two Weekly Average Engaged Hours thresholds above
- You are actively covered by a qualifying healthcare plan during the entire calendar quarter (e.g., Oct 1, 2025 - Dec 31, 2025)
- You are enrolled in a qualifying healthcare plan. The following plans are NOT eligible:
- Plans where you are not the primary subscriber
- Employer-sponsored plans
- Government-sponsored plans (e.g., Medicaid, Medicare, Medical, CenCal Health, Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP), and other forms of Medicare and Medicaid)
- Tricare
- Promise Health Plan
- Any vision or dental health plans
- You submit valid proof of coverage. Accepted documents include a health insurance card, coverage form, or a letter detailing your plan. The document must include:
- Your first and last name matching your legal name when you registered
- Policyholder name
- Provider
- Active coverage dates
How the process works:
- If you meet the average weekly engaged hours threshold, Veho will email you (using the email address on your driver account) within 4-7 days after the most recent calendar quarter ends. The email will include instructions on how to submit proof of eligibility.
- You’ll have 15 days from the date you receive the email to submit proof of coverage.
- Veho will review your documents. If they meet all requirements, you’ll receive a confirmation email.
- The subsidy will be provided to you within 15 days of you submitting proof of eligible active health insurance coverage. It will show as a Healthcare Reimbursement in the Earnings screen.
- Your Healthcare subsidy will be cashed out, along with any open balance, at same-day deposit speed no later than 15 days from the time you submitted proof of eligible active health insurance coverage. No action will be required to deposit these payments. While Veho aims to process payments promptly, please be aware that unforeseen circumstances or bank processing times may cause delays in payment receipt.
