E-Commerce Delivery Platform Veho Announces Increased Capacity in 15 Markets Ahead of Peak Shopping Season

Parcel Sortation and Delivery Capacity Expanded in Hub and Spoke Facilities, including Philadelphia, Newark, Hartford, Atlanta, Chicago, Richmond, Dallas, Houston, Boston, South Florida, Tampa, Northern Virginia, Louisville and more

Expanded Capacity to Launch Ahead of Peak and Support 2026 Expansion

New York, NY, October 9, 2025 – Veho, the most customer-centric parcel delivery platform in the U.S., today announced it has expanded its parcel handling capacity by over 50% in some of its largest markets ahead of the Peak holiday shopping season, ensuring it can meet e-commerce shippers’ needs during their most important time of year.

E-commerce brands make on average 30% of their revenue during the approximately 29 day “Peak” shopping season between Thanksgiving and Christmas, during which delivery volume increases by approximately 40%. Last year was the busiest Peak ever, with 2 billion parcels delivered. Famously, this sharp increase in demand for deliveries, and the increased importance of on-time-delivery ahead of the holidays, puts tremendous pressure on shipping companies – with some legacy providers often reaching breaking points.

Automated parcel sorting technology at Veho’s Atlanta-area hub

Veho, whose tech and logistics platform is designed specifically for e-commerce brands focused on reliability, customer experience and competitive cost, is ensuring it has the capacity to scale and meet consumer demand during Peak. Central to these efforts is increasing the size and capability of its own facilities, as well as launching new distribution centers through partnerships.

Veho has increased the capacity of its existing Philadelphia, PA and Indianapolis, IN regional hubs by a combined over 50,000 square feet, opened a new 150,000 square foot hub outside Atlanta, GA, and is increasing its capacity by 50-100% in markets nationwide through reorganizing or expanding its own facilities or by working with third party logistics providers. Those markets include Newark, NJ; Hartford, CT; Boston, MA; Raleigh, NC; Chicago, IL; Dallas and Houston, TX: Tampa and South Florida; Richmond and Northern Virginia; Louisville, KY; and Greensboro, NC. Through this expansion, Veho will now have a second distribution center in over 10 of the markets in which it operates.

Through partnerships with 3PLs, Veho is increasing its Peak and go-forward parcel handling capacity in those markets by over 50% with major benefits network-wide. Photos and videos of Veho’s facilities and technology can be accessed here.

Veho is ensuring consistent processes, procedures, reliability, parcel tracking, and quality control through purpose-built warehouse management technology it has engineered and is using at all Veho- and partner-managed facilities.

While these facilities are being expanded or launched in advance of the Peak shopping season, almost all are anticipated to remain part of Veho’s network in anticipation of continued national growth and rapid geographic expansion in 2026.

“One of the hardest things in the logistics business is ensuring you always have enough capacity to meet shippers’ demands, without having so much you become inefficient,” said Veho’s SVP of Operations Albert Silva. “The volume of parcels flowing through Veho has doubled year-to-date, and can be expected to grow even more during the three weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas. We are expanding our existing facilities and launching over 10 new ones–all with flexible staffing models–to ensure we can meet shippers’ needs in a cost-effective way.”

The importance of flexibility, technology and partnerships in providing a great delivery experience was also a major theme in just-released research by Supply Chain Dive and Veho. In a survey of 150 e-commerce brands, the study found that “fast delivery and quality are no longer trade-offs—they have to go hand in hand,” and that “customers only believe a delivery promise if it’s backed by visibility and accuracy.” The study concluded that brands investing in smarter networks and stronger partnerships “will be able to tackle the challenges of Peak and emerge positioned for even more growth.”
