Veho Expands E-Commerce Delivery to Northern California

Veho Expands E-Commerce Delivery to Northern California

With the Bay Area live, Veho spans 78 markets and more than half the U.S. population

From my first week at Veho, I've been chasing one milestone: the point where most Americans can receive a package through a last-mile delivery network built to actually work, for the brands shipping the order and the people waiting at the door.

Today, we hit it.

With Oakland, San Francisco, Sacramento, and San Jose now live, Veho operates in 78 markets. For the first time, more than half the U.S. population can receive a Veho delivery. The experience I obsess over now reaches coast to coast.

How We Got Here

A year ago, Veho was in 50 markets. Today we're in 78: a 56% expansion of our national footprint in twelve months. We added Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Norfolk, Memphis, Birmingham, Kansas City, and now four of California's largest metros.

That pace is aggressive by any measure, and the fair question when a company moves this fast is simple: how?

The answer is that our clients want it as much as we do. They've seen what Veho does in the markets where we already operate: better on-time rates, higher customer satisfaction, a delivery experience that makes their brand look good. They want that for more of their customers. Every market we open is one they've been asking for.

Demand pulls us forward. Our standards keep us from outrunning ourselves. Two of our values make this kind of growth possible without cutting corners.

The first is Drive Impact. We set a high bar and we hold ourselves to results. Across every market we've launched in the past year, we've held a 99% on-time delivery rate and a 4.9 out of 5 customer satisfaction score. Growth and quality moved together because we required both.

The second is Obsess over Experience, and this is the one I live in. Every market we enter, we enter with the same commitment: the promise made at checkout is the promise kept at the door. Legacy logistics taught people to expect a gap between those two moments. Closing that gap is the work I care about most.

That combination, relentless execution and zero tolerance for the status quo, is how we scaled from 50 to 78 markets without trading away the performance that got us here.

Why Northern California, Why Now

The Bay Area is a large market, and a remarkably concentrated one: high-order-frequency households, brand-loyal shoppers, and retailers who care deeply about the experience they hand customers after the sale.

For the brands we work with, adding Oakland, San Francisco, Sacramento, and San Jose means something concrete. Their Bay Area customers now get the same Veho experience as their customers in Boston or Denver. Real-time tracking. Packages that show up when promised. A delivery that makes the brand look good at the door.

More Last-Mile Delivery Options with the Ground Plus Suite

This expansion lands at the same time as the full rollout of the Ground Plus Suite. For brands shipping into the Bay Area and across all 78 Veho markets, the Suite gives you five delivery speeds, Ground Plus Zero through Four, so you can match the right delivery to the right order. Standard replenishment and premium same-day shouldn't cost the same or route the same way. Now they don't have to.

The optimization runs underneath, so the promise date a shopper sees at checkout is the date we hit. That's the standard we bring into every new market.

What Comes Next

We're not slowing down. The roadmap ahead is full, and the infrastructure we've built scales with it: the hubs, the driver network, the technology.
