Veho was founded with a simple idea: delivery should be flexible, reliable, and delightful for every customer.
That idea has guided us through remarkable growth. In 2025 alone, we’ve doubled the volume flowing through our network and tripled new client onboardings—all while improving unit economics across the network.
Today, Veho is stronger than ever. And we’ve learned a lot as we’ve grown – including identifying areas where we know we’re very strong, areas where we think we can be stronger, and areas where it makes sense for us to partner with specialized partners, rather than building it in-house.
In this blog post, I’ll walk you through some of these areas.
Where Veho is Strongest: Technology Driving Reliability, Cost Competitiveness and Customer Experience
At the heart of Veho is the philosophy that the only way to power the future of commerce (our mission statement) is to own and develop the entire technology stack that allows us to continue supporting our clients into the future as their needs, and our needs, continue to evolve. Therefore, since day 1, we’ve been investing heavily in our R&D advantage. Nearly half of our corporate team is dedicated to tech R&D (compared with less than 3% at national legacy carriers), and their work powers everything we do: from how we manage warehouse operations to how we delight customers at the doorstep.
Every single day, the platform gets smarter, faster, and more efficient.
Veho’s home-built, vertically-integrated technology stack is how we build and maintain trust with e-commerce brands, logistics decision makers, their customers, and with driver partners. It’s how we build and offer the best possible routes, enable consumers to provide delivery instructions in real-time, empower driver partners to deliver a consistent, high-quality experience, and how we provide transparency to shippers.
And as we look to 2026, our technology advantage will unlock new levels of delivery optionality—giving brands, consumers, and driver partners more choices, more flexibility, and more control than ever before.
Where we are going to be strongest: Building Centers of Expertise
While Veho is absolutely a technology company, the business we are in is logistics. Much of our technology and corporate employees are able to work remotely. At the same time, we’ve learned that some work is best done with our people working, in person, side-by-side.
Collaboration drives speed. Proximity drives quality.
Over the coming months, we are going to develop Centers of Expertise where certain functions–especailly those that directly impact the customer and driver experience–will be in the same place physically.
For example, in Dallas, our CoE will serve as the anchor for Ground Operations leadership, training, and network health. It’s where we’ll centralize best practices, test new operational technologies before national rollout, and bring together site leaders for hands-on learning. This centralized location allows faster decision-making, real-time problem solving, and stronger connections between operations, product, and engineering.
Concentrating expertise in this way better equips us to solve problems quickly, share insights across teams, and ensure our clients and their customers receive the reliability and experience they should expect from Veho.
Where we are complementing ourselves: Unlocking Capacity and Flexibility Through Trusted Partners
As we’ve expanded into dozens of markets—including some of the most complex in the country—we’ve seen just how much variability e-commerce shippers face. Volume can swing dramatically as a result of consumer demand, pricing changes, weather, tariffs, or dozens of other reasons. Package injections into our warehouse may not arrive on time or as expected. With new client onboardings triple this year vs last, many launching quickly and scaling fast, we’re constantly flexing and expanding capacity.
To ensure Veho is the trusted partner the e-commerce brands we serve expect, Veho needs to be as flexible as they are.
That’s why we’ve leaned into working with trusted partners who specialize in day-to-day operations. Currently, 68% of our warehouse operations are driven through a scalable partner network aligned with Veho’s operational guidelines and technology platform.
This isn’t just good for Veho. It’s better for our clients.
It means faster ramp-ups when you launch a new market. It means smoother operations when demand changes suddenly. And it means we can consistently provide the high-quality experience customers expect—without compromise.
This flexibility is also critical during the Peak holiday shopping season. Last year, the volume of parcels flowing through our operations doubled on Black Friday, for the week following, and remained elevated for nearly a month. In the same way that Veho scales its network of independent contractor driver partners to meet surges in customer demand, our warehouse operations are designed to flex capacity efficiently – with teams of personnel in our warehouses sorting parcels and loading trucks, under the guidance of Veho operational standards and our proprietary technology. One way we are already doing this is by partnering with excellent 3PLs in some of our top markets to help us expand capacity. This approach will also help us launch and scale new markets faster, while maintaining the signature high quality experience Veho is known for.
Looking Ahead
In a world in which consumers and brands expect high reliability, fast delivery, tracking transparency and a great delivery experience - all at a lower cost than ever before - technology and flexibility are key. Veho’s tech and product teams have built a value proposition unmatched in the logistics space. As we approach Peak and 2026, it’s on the Operations team to ensure we have built the internal expertise and muscle, as well as the right partner relationships to deliver on what our technology makes possible and scale to meet – and surpass – client expectations.
Our focus remains clear: execute with excellence, grow with discipline, and deliver with reliability.
Thank you for being incredible partners along the journey. I am so excited for what’s ahead!
